About Church Growth
"I planted, Apollos watered, but God gave the growth". 1 Corinthians 3:6
What is church growth? What is it all about? How do we put it into practice? And why does it matter?
Within our diocese
Our new diocese is all about growing the local church. This means growing the church in numbers, spirituality, and out into our local community.
Your contacts for Church Growth in the Diocese of Leeds are Robin Gamble and Sammi Tooze – see the ‘meet the team’ page to find out more about them, or get in touch by following the ‘contact us’ link. We always welcome comments and suggestions!

Huddersfield Area Celebration
This event, will celebrate all that churches are doing throughout the Hudderfield Episcopal Area.
It will be held at Halifax Minster on Sunday 12 February 2017 at 4.00pm.
Bishop Jonathan said,
“We are looking forward to coming together to celebrate what God is doing amongst us to grow his kingdom across our Area, under the themes of Confident Christians, Growing Churches and Transforming Communities.”
Churches will be sharing their stories and the event promises ‘worship, fellowship and a glass of bubbly!’
